Shore Excurison Warnemuende- Hamburg

Hamburg is roughly two hours from the Warnemuende cruise terminal, which makes it a realistic full day ashore rather than a rushed one – provided the transport is private and the timings are built backwards from all-aboard. This excursion pairs an English-speaking driver for the road with a licensed Hamburg guide in the city, and covers the port from the water before covering the city on foot.

The day hour by hour

• 08:00 – the driver meets your clients with a name sign at the Warnemuende pier and heads west
• 10:00 – arrival in Hamburg, where the guide takes over for a boat trip through the harbour basins
• 11:00 – the guided city tour begins, on foot and by vehicle
• Afternoon – time for lunch and for the party’s own priorities, whether that is shopping on the Jungfernstieg or the climb up the Michel
• 15:00 at the latest – departure for the return transfer to Warnemuende

On the water

The harbour boat trip is the part guests remember. It runs through the working basins for a close view of container terminals, shipyards and vessels far larger than they look from shore, passes through a lock, and turns into the narrow canals of the Speicherstadt.
